FACE School

The 2017 French for the Future Local Forum in Montreal took place on Thursday, April 6 at FACE School. FACE is the only school in all of Quebec where Francophone and Anglophone School Boards work together, providing the unique experience of students from the two linguistic groups coexisting in one school.  With the theme : Respect, Culture and Integration Into Québécois Society, we had inspiring speakers and enriching activities.

Over 500 students from high schools all across Montreal, from three school boards, as well as several private schools, were present. The wide variety of fun and educational programs allowed students to be immersed in the French language over the course of an entire day and undoubtedly allowed them to feel proud of being bilingual, but it also reinforced their connection to the Québécois culture that surrounds them on a daily basis.
