Description
Moncton’s 12th annual French for the Future Local Forum will be held at Université de Moncton on October 29, 2019. Over 200 French Immersion students from grades 10 to 12, representing eight Greater Moncton high schools, will gather for a full day that includes conferences, workshops, lively discussions, music and a hot meal. Throughout the day, these students will meet a variety of people who have French at heart and have used it to enrich their lives, on both a professional and a personal basis.
Mathieu Gingras from Université de Moncton, who is French for the Future’s National Ambassador will be the guest speaker. Workshops will focus on many topics, such as health, music, leadership, social involvement, psychology, social work, engineering, nutrition, science, French studies and official languages. To close the day, a hot meal will be served while the students can enjoy the variety show Immersion’s Got Talent, featuring students from different schools of the Anglophone East School District.
