The Moncton Forum is 13 Years Old!!!

Moncton’s 13th annual French for the Future local forum will be held at Université de Moncton from February 16th to 19th 2021. Over 200 French Immersion students from grades 10 to 12, representing eight Greater Moncton high schools, will gather for a full day that includes conferences, many different workshops, virtual activities and music. Throughout the day, these students will meet a variety of people who have French at heart and have used it to enrich their lives, on both a professional and a personal basis.
Mathieu Gingras from Université de Moncton, who is French for the Future’s National Ambassador will be the guest speaker.

Workshops will focus on many topics, such as health, social involvement, French studies and the official languages.

MATHIEU GINGRAS

Originally from Quebec, Mathieu Gingras obtained his undergraduate degree in history/geography from l’Université de Moncton. Passionate about the richness of cultures in Canada, he did a master’s degree in public administration at the same university and became its director of student development and recruitment.

Since September 2013, Cy mixes harmonies and guitar strings to create a music of the present and the past. With three guitars and four voices, this Nova Scotian band takes to the road to promote their compositions, mist in their spine and the sea in their shoes.
