The London Local Forum, hosted by French for the Future, brings together several francophone organizations in southwestern Ontario, as well as students and teachers from across the region. During the Forum, students will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops as well as cultural activities. They will have the chance to attend a conference by Inouk Touzin, artistic director of the Théâtre à Pic in Calgary, and a performance by promoter and poet MC June.

The purpose of this forum is to facilitate dialogue between FSL and FML students, to create a positive environment where students can practice and celebrate their French, to educate students about the professional opportunities and benefits of bilingualism, and to promote French education.

Schedule for the day:

8:45 – Reception and signing in

9:10 – Opening ceremony

9:20 – Conference by Inouk Touzin

10:00 – Morning tea

10:15 – Various workshops

11:45 – Lunch

12:45 – MC June Concert

1:30 – Closing Ceremony
