On Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in the McCain building of Dalhousie University, the French for the Future Halifax Local Forum will welcome approximately 250 students from the English and French high schools of the Halifax area.

Throughout a day completely in French, students will participate in informative and interactive activities where professionals from various fields will share their experiences and expertise. In addition to fun-interactive and educational sessions, participants will have the opportunity to meet youths from both linguistic communities and get a taste of the French culture.

Schedule for the day :

8:15 – Signing in, booths fair and icebreakers

9:00 – Opening Ceremony

9:20 – “J’aime right ton accent” Conference by Ana Panjic from the Conseil jeunesse provinciale de la Nouvelle-Ecosse

10:10 – Various workshops

12:00 – Lunch and booths fair

1:00 – Cultural activity: Entrepôt du rire

2:00 – Thoughts sharing and closing ceremony
