The National Essay Contest is open to all legal residents of Canada who at the time of entry are enrolled in a Canadian high school in Grade 10, 11 or 12 (Secondary IV, V or Cegép 1 in the province of Quebec). To participate, you must submit an essay on the following theme : "On June 17th, 2019, Canada has declared a climate emergency. If you were put in charge of leading the government, how would you respond to this emergency?" You have between October 1, 2019 and December 20, 2019 to submit your work.
