GUESTS
Bernadette Clement
Bernadette Clement is a lawyer and a politician. From 2018 to 2021, she was also Mayor of Cornwall in Ontario. Ms. Clement is the first woman mayor of Cornwall, in addition to being the first black woman to become mayor in Ontario. She previously served three terms as City Councilor. She is very proud that her mother, who passed away in 2021, was a francophone who grew up in Manitoba and that her father, who is 100 years old, grew up in Trinité. As a result, she is a representative of diversity and linguistic duality in Canada. More information on Ms. Clément here.
