Description
Get ready for an exciting day in French! On March 22, 23 ad 24, 2023, over 750 students in grades 9 to 12 will gather together to share in a full day of workshops, speakers, exhibitors and complimentary lunch! This rare opportunity will focus on the benefits of learning French, continuing to learn and use French, and share resources that students can use now and into the future!
Teachers and students will be welcomed at the First Alliance Deerfoot Campus in Calgary Alberta by a number of exhibitors promoting post secondary, travel, volunteer, and scholarship opportunities. Our morning ceremony includes a memorable keynote presented by Mathieu Gingras from the University of Moncton followed by break-out workshops where small groups of students can interact while learning about writing song lyrics, creating visual art, learning new dance moves, yoga, sports and much more!
Complimentary lunch is provided and a concert with 2Moods will end our day with a BANG! This French rapper will have everyone on their feet celebrating together!

2MOODS
His real name is Dan Dennis Ndala. On stage he chose 2Moods as his pseudonym, in order to promote the concept of the duality of elements in existence. Outside of the stage, 2Moods is a psychology student at the University of Alberta. Originally from Congo Kinshasa, now residing in Edmonton Canada, the artist has been active on the Canadian music scene since the summer of 2015. His love for music and his admiration for French vocabulary are the elements that motivated him to pursue a musical career.
