2010-2011 National Essay Contest


For the 2010-2011 National Essay Contest, we asked you to write an essay answering the following question:

“Imagine that you have the authority to declare 2011 the International Year of _____ (fill in the blank)!  What theme would you choose?  Why?”  

For the first time in the National Essay Contest's history, scholarships were offered by FOUR universities: the University of Ottawa, l’Université Sainte-Anne (Nova Scotia), the University of Alberta's Campus Saint-Jean, and Laurentian University.
