November 2011's Featured Student is Adam Gyokery!
Published by French for the Future on 01 November 2011

Hello! My name is Adam Gyokery. I am 12 years old. My favourite subjects are math, French, and Phys. Ed. I have been taking Core French for four years, since I was in grade 4. I only have French for 40 minutes per day. My French teacher is incredible and we play lots of fun games that are tied in to our French lessons. I believe that French is important in many respects, like being a part of our work or our background. I am very good in French and I’m always interested in learning new things.
Some important things about me are that I am intelligent and athletic. I play hockey, basketball, and a high level of baseball. I like being active and living a healthy lifestyle. I also like travelling. I’ve been to lots of cool places such as Egypt, San Diego, New York, Florida and some parts of Europe. I’ve also been to Mont Tremblant to ski and to visit Quebec. When I was there I was able to understand a lot of written and spoken French. I also took advantage of the outdoors. I swam for fun, and I went fishing and hiking. I am very excited about my future in French, and I often ask myself where it will take me.
